Dear LVUSD Families,

 

On behalf of THE Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools, Together Helping Education, thank you to every parent, business leader, and community member who supported THE Foundation during the 2023-2024 academic year. We experienced the largest attendance ever at THE Carnival, played poker under the stars at THE Poker Night, rocked out to THE Battle of the Bands and celebrated our district at THE Event. Our events united our community and raised funds to directly benefit our students. 

 

From fostering smaller class sizes, to providing essential specialists in our elementary schools, and ensuring that every student has access to vital mental health support through dedicated counselors, THE Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools is the only organization benefiting students throughout their entire academic journey in the LVUSD.

 

While it’s vital to support our individual schools directly, they are not allowed to directly fund many important expenses such as teachers and counselors. Together, we can continue to advance our mission of providing exceptional education and support to every student in our district.

 

This year, we again call on our community for your support. While a gift of even $50 will help, we encourage you to invest in your children’s education by donating $500 to become a member of our VIP Club or $1,000 to join our Honor Roll. These groups enjoy district-wide recognition as well as many benefits from special access to events to exclusive opportunities and experiences. Our goal is 100% LVUSD-family participation. If the approximately 8,000 families with children in our district contributed $500 to this appeal, we could raise $4,000,000!

 

All families who donate $50 or more will be entered in a drawing for 2 VIP tickets to see the Gin Blossoms perform at The 3rd Annual Sagebrush Cantina Music, Food & Fun! Festival on Saturday, October 19th, 2024.  Families who donate $500 during our appeal are eligible for a code to redeem for a free ride wristband to THE Carnival.
